Women Making Tomorrow's History Today

As we wrap up Women’s History month having celebrated women who have made it as entrepreneurs, I’m thinking about the women who will be making tomorrow’s history.  As many of you have heard me say, there is nothing that will make you more hopeful and joyful about the future than working with entrepreneurs. This year, our Flywheel Elevate Equity accelerator is honored to support four enterprises and all four are women led. No disrespect to our one male co-founder but these women rock! They are out to change policing, create supportive workplaces for workers who need a fair chance, close the success gap for women in tech, and elevate the lives of Black women through education, policy change, and empowerment.

As a woman of a certain age, I can look back at some of the things we endured to get to this place. Underpaid, underestimated, overlooked, and if you did get attention it was often for the wrong reason. We have come a long way and have celebrated throughout March. Now it’s back to work. There’s so much more that needs to be done.
